They click through Meta official connect flow, and the channel appears in your dashboard. In the app: open the customer menu and choose New Link. From the terminal:
Two ways to target it:
  • Tied to a customer: add --customer ws_XXXXXXXX and the connected channel lands in that existing customer.
  • Open: leave it untargeted and a new customer is created the moment someone connects through it.
--channel-type accepts whatsapp, instagram or facebook. A facebook link connects the customer’s Page and, when one is linked, its Instagram account into the same workspace. Set successRedirectUrl, failureRedirectUrl, and connectedNotificationUrl when you create a link to know the moment a customer’s connect succeeds or fails. See Connection events. Links are not one-time secrets. Every link you created stays listed, reopenable, and copyable, so you can resend it whenever a customer loses the email:

Message destination

Set your organization default destination webhook once (in the app under your organization webhook settings), and every channel connected through an onboarding link forwards there automatically. Admins can also apply the destination to existing channels in bulk. Any channel can be repointed individually later. See API overview or CLI for customer-channel webhook commands.
