Metric	Counts
`page_post_engagements`	Times people engaged with your posts
`page_follows`	People who follow your Page
`page_views_total`	Times your Page was viewed
`page_daily_follows_unique`	New followers

period is day, week or days_28. Each metric comes back with values[], one entry per period with value and end_time.

Metric	Counts
`post_clicks`	Clicks anywhere on the post
`post_activity_by_action_type`	Shares, comments and reactions, broken down by type
`post_reactions_by_type_total`	Reactions, broken down by type

Post metrics are lifetime totals and take no period.

What to expect from the data

Data can lag up to 48 hours. Metrics Meta has retired return an error naming the metric; drop it and keep the rest.

Read insights with MCP

get_facebook_insights reads the Page when called with only the channel, and one post when postId is set. metrics and period are optional and default to the tables above.

Use HookMyApp MCP to compare this week's Page impressions with last week's on Facebook channel ch_xxxxxxxx.
