# Pricing

> How HookMyApp and Meta bill separately, and what each HookMyApp plan includes.

HookMyApp charges for inbound and outbound messages routed through HookMyApp.<br />
Meta charges you directly for messages.<br />
The two are billed separately, and HookMyApp never takes a cut of your Meta spend.

## What does HookMyApp charge for?

Usage, priced by monthly message volume:

* Inbound messages HookMyApp delivers to you
* Outbound messages HookMyApp sends for you

## What does Meta charge for?

Meta bills per delivered **template** message, charged to the payment method on your WhatsApp Business Account.

## Who bills Meta fees?

Meta does, directly to your WABA payment method.<br />
**HookMyApp does not bill Meta fees on your behalf and adds no per-message markup.** Your Meta conversation costs go straight to Meta.

## What counts toward message limit?

Every inbound message HookMyApp delivers and every outbound message HookMyApp sends counts toward your plan volume for the current quota period.<br />
Free plans reset monthly on your signup date. Paid plans reset monthly on the date of your first payment.<br />
Upgrading to a bigger plan raises your limit right away and keeps your reset date the same.<br />
Your reset date is shown on the billing page.<br />

## Is sandbox free?

Yes.<br />
The [sandbox](/whatsapp/sandbox) is a free test WhatsApp number.<br />
Use it to build and test before connecting your own number.<br />
Meta does not bill sandbox traffic.
